Skylar has decided that it is now time to start holding her head up. Also, to our surprise, she has decided that it is time to start standing up and she loves it!

"WOW...this whole holding my head up thing is tiring!"

"Hey Mommy...I can stand up and eat your finger at the same time!"

My New Favorite Onesie!

Thanks for my new onesie Aunt Jennifer. It is now my new favorite onesie, and oh so TRUE!

The Incredible Adventures of Skylar Peyton - Kingston, NY

On Friday, Aug. 22nd the adventure began when we headed up to Kingston, NY where Skylar got to visit her Mommy's Aunt Mead and her Aunt Anne.

The Incredible Adventures of Skylar Peyton - Richmond, VA

On Saturday, Aug. 23rd we left for our house hunting trip to Charleston, SC. We headed out of Westerly and made our way to Richmond, VA. There we stayed with Grandma's cousin Barbara and her mom Aunt Elinore. Skylar did great in the car, but had a meltdown when we were about 20 minutes from Barbara's house. Once there, she was fine and enjoyed playing with Aunt Elinore. On Sunday morning Barbara's sons, Jeremy and Scott, came over with their families for breakfast.

The Incredible Adventures of Skylar Peyton - Charleston, SC

On Sunday, Aug. 24th we said goodbye to Mommy's relatives after breakfast and headed to Charleston, SC. We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Daniel Island and we spent the next two days looking at houses. Skylar was a trooper through the entire process even though it was very tiring. On Monday afternoon Skylar went into the pool for the first time. She seemed to like it and was kicking in the water. We also visited Holly, Katie, Jackson, and Lucy while we were there. After much debate we finally decided to rent a condo at Palmetto Place on Daniel Island.

The Incredible Adventures of Skylar Peyton - Atlanta, GA

On Wednesday, Aug. 28th we said goodbye to Charleston, SC and headed for Atlanta, GA. We stayed with Marcia, Jose, and their big puppy Shana. Skylar went to her first sushi restaurant on Wednesday night and met Auntie Beth and Auntie Jen for the first time. On Thursday Mommy took her to her old office and she met several of her past co-workers. On Thursday night Skylar held her meet and greet at Auntie Beth and Auntie Emily's house. While there, she got to meet several new Aunties and friends including Kristen, Emily Grey, Kerrie, Jess, Ashley and Tara.
