It was a really pretty day on Sunday, and Skylar got a chance to wear one of the many outfits that her Nana recently bought for her. She striked some poses for a short photo shoot before getting bored and moving on.

Skylar has discovered her toy box in the living room, so when she wants her toys she goes over to it and trys to get them out herself.
It was a rainy, gross day on Saturday, so after a quick trip to Wal Mart, we spent the rest of the day indoors. Skylar had fun playing with all of her toys, and she even got to try out a new toy that Cousin Wendy and Matt got her for Christmas. It took her awhile to figure it out, but she enjoyed playing with the balls and mallet.
I think I've figured it out....sort of.

Skylar loves to sleep with her Pooh and Tigger and they always stay in her crib. So, she was really excited when her Aunt Tricia got her up from her nap and let her bring the Pooh into the living room to play with.

On Sunday, we spent most of the day at the outlets and Skylar got to watch everyone shop while she relaxed in her stroller.
On Sunday, we went to the Isle of Palms after we left the outlets. It was pretty chilly, so we just stayed long enough to get a few pics. Skylar didn't seem to mind the cold weather and was very intrigued by all of the sea gulls that were on the beach.
On Saturday, we went to downtown Charleston with Nana and Aunt Tricia, who were visiting for the weekend. We ate lunch at The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and everyone was very impressed with the food, including Skylar, who ate almost half of a grilled chicken breast all by herself. There was also lots and lots of cool movie memorabilia from Forrest Gump hanging all around the restaurant that kept Skylar's attention for quite a while.

Yesterday, Skylar pulled herself up on to her knees for the first time. Now she's pulling up on everything she can reach.
Now that Skylar has gotten her 2 teeth, we brushed for the first time today and she actually liked it. Well, it was probably the berry flavored toothpaste that she liked, but she didn't fuss, so all was good.
