Hilton Head: Part 1

On Friday, we left for a weekend trip to Hilton Head. We met up with all of Skylar's ATL aunties there and stayed at Auntie Beth's parent's house on the island. We spent all day Saturday at the beach, where Skylar had a blast playing in the sand and water for the first time. While at the beach, Skylar also figured out how to drink from a straw for the first time. On Sunday, Skylar went on a 5 mile bike ride to Harbour Town with her mommies and aunties Beth, Emily and Jen. Auntie Beth pulled Skylar in a childs's cart behind her bicycle and Skylar loved it. When we got back from Harbour Town, we went to the pool and a tired Skylar enjoyed it for a bit. This is only part 1 of our trip....Skylar's aunties took many pictures as well, and we will post them later, so stay tuned for Hilton Head: Part 2!

There R No Words 2 Describe!!

On Thursday morning I was making breakfast and when I came out of the kitchen, to my surprise (and Riley's too, I'm sure), Skylar had decided to join Riley in her crate.

Finally....Pool Time!!

Today, I took Skylar to the pool for the first time this Summer. She didn't like it at first because she wasn't expecting the water to be cold, but after she got used to it, she had a blast....and so did her Mom!

Look At Me Standing Up!

On Wednesday, Skylar decided it was time to stand up on her own and she stood up to play with her toy. Later she also stood up at the couch to play with Riley.

Life Is Good

Last weekend, Amy was trying to get a picture of Skylar's new Life Is Good t-shirt, but Skylar would not be still, and this is the outcome.

The only shot we got of the entire shirt.

If You Can't Find Me.....

....this is where I usually am: In my room looking at a book

Skylar at Mommy's Work: Part 2

Last week I visited Mommy at work again and had lots of fun.

Me and Kat...she's the best babysitter ever...I call her the "cheese lady"

Crib Time

One day last week, Skylar was about 30 minutes past her usual wake up time from her afternoon nap. So, I went to check on her since she wasn't making a sound and this is what I found her doing in her crib:

I love reading in my crib!
This is my friend Pooh....

....and I love giving him kisses!

Little Helper

Our cable was all jacked up last week and I helped Mom try to fix it.

Skylar at Mommy's Work

Last week, Skylar went and hung out with Mommy and her friends at work for a little while.

Krispy Kreme...Nuff Said!

On our way home from Myrtle Beach we decided to stop at Krispy Kreme for some doughnuts. I think we have found pics for Krispy Kreme's new ad campaign:

My New Friend Darby

On Sunday we took a daytrip up to Myrtle Beach to see one of Amy's college friends. Vicky and her family were on vacation and invited us up to hang out and let Skylar meet their daughter, Darby. Skylar and Darby did very well with each other and enjoyed playing. Although, Darby was doing most of the moving around, while Skylar just sat and observed. We let the girls play at the condo and then went out to Planet Hollywood for lunch, which everyone enjoyed.

Saying goodbye

Chick-Fil-A or Bust!

So, from previous blogs it should be pretty obvious that Skylar's moms love Chick-fil-A, but on Saturday night, Skylar got to try her first Chick-fil-A chicken strips. See below to find out what she thought:

Hey, that looks like chicken on my tray.....tastes like chicken too!

Wow, that's some good chicken....what's the name of that place again?

Mmm....I'll take some more, thank you very much!

Final verdict: I LOVE CHICK-FIL-A!

My New Sleeping Position

Skylar has recently started sleeping on her side and holding her Pooh. Before, she only slept on her back with her hands tucked behind her head.
