H2O

Skylar loves drinking water out of a bottle.

It's Party Time!

Skylar went to her first birthday party today for her friend Lucy who turned one year old. She had lots of fun. She got to ride in a wagon with Lucy, which you can see on the video at the bottom of the blog. She also had good time playing with Lucy's toys and eating Cheerios. She tried a carrot cake cupcake and ate a little of it, but it was naptime, so we went home.

Riding in Lucy's wagon
Am I dreaming....or is that an entire plate full of Cheerios!!

This is my pretty yellow ball.

This is my pretty yellow ball in my mouth.

My hand is amazing!!!

This is Lucy's new musical teapot that she got for her birthday...it's really cool.

But, this paper plate is even cooler!!!!

Happy Birthday Lucy!

Lucy and Skylar both got a carrot cake cupcake whille the adults ate cake.

Watching Sesame Street Online

Skylar had fun watching Sesame Street videos online with her Mom.

My 1st Hockey Game

Last Sunday, Skylar went to her first hockey game when we met Holly and Jackson to see the Charleston Stingrays play. She made it through 2 periods before her dinner time arrived and we had to leave. She liked the music and all the people, but was not a big fan of the loud buzzer.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today, Skylar celebrated her first Valentine's Day. She started out the day in her festive pajamas, and then changed into her Valentine's Day outfit. She got many gifts and cards, and also shared the love by sending out a few cards of her own....she's quite resourceful. She especially enjoyed the musical card that her Nana sent to her, as is evident in the video below. Also, if you look close in some of the pics, you can clearly see her only 2 teeth.

I just....
....can't stop....
....LAUGHING!!!

Want A Biscuit?

Skylar has tried her first biter biscuits, and seems to like them. She's still a little confused as to what to do with them, but she's learning.

I think this goes in my mouth....

....yep, it does! Do you see Riley trying to steal it from me...she's sneaky!

Me and My Bucket

Skylar loves playing with her bucket and blocks, but loves sticking her head in the bucket even more. She likes to talk with her head in it because she likes the echo sound of her voice.
