The Incredible Adventures of Skylar Peyton - Atlanta, GA

On Wednesday, Aug. 28th we said goodbye to Charleston, SC and headed for Atlanta, GA. We stayed with Marcia, Jose, and their big puppy Shana. Skylar went to her first sushi restaurant on Wednesday night and met Auntie Beth and Auntie Jen for the first time. On Thursday Mommy took her to her old office and she met several of her past co-workers. On Thursday night Skylar held her meet and greet at Auntie Beth and Auntie Emily's house. While there, she got to meet several new Aunties and friends including Kristen, Emily Grey, Kerrie, Jess, Ashley and Tara.

The Incredible Adventures of Skylar Peyton - Nashville, TN

On Friday, Aug. 28th we said goodbye to Atlanta and headed to Nashville, TN to visit Nana Campbell. During the car ride, Skylar watched her first movie in the car (Eight Below) and loved the Little Mermaid preview, but fell asleep during the movie. While we were in Nashville, Skylar took her 1st trip to the mall when we went to Opry Mills for the day on Saturday. She was quite intrigued by the overwhelming amount of people she saw. While there, Nana and Mommy bought Skylar several outfits for the upcoming holidays and some new swimsuits. On Sunday we relaxed and spent some time at the pool.

The Incredible Adventures of Skylar Peyton - Roanoke, VA (Car Cam)

On Monday, Sept. 1st we said goodbye to Nana Campbell and Nashville. We headed to Roanoke, VA. and during the trip Skylar decided that she wanted to try holding her bottle herself. We stayed at the Days Inn for the night and we all three enjoyed watching the One Tree Hill season premiere. Skylar was very happy that Lucas picked Peyton....probably because she liked her name ;-)

The adventure came to an end when we arrived back in Westerly on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd. Skylar was happy to be home and play with her toys that she had missed.

My First Olympics

Skylar seems to be just as excited about the Olympics as we are. She took a break from her busy morning to catch a few minutes of an early round volleyball match.

Bon Voyage Grandma and Grandpa

On Tuesday, Skylar said goodbye to her Grandma and Grandpa Needelman who had been visiting for a week. She was very sad to see them go and exhausted after all of the excitement of the last week.

Crazy Hair Day

After her bath on Monday, Skylar's curly hair was crazier than usual.

Last Saturday Skylar hosted quite a gathering of family members from her Grandpa Needelman's side. She was visited by her Aunt Myrna, Cousin Jessica, Uncle Eddie, Aunt Paula, Cousin David and Connie. She enjoyed all the hugs and kisses, as well as watching us indulge in a huge pizza feast and competing in an impromptu Wii Sports tournament.
