Today, Skylar had a great time walking around the condo with her walker toy. Please excuse the shotty camera work at the beginning of the video....I forgot I was taking a video and held the camera like I was taking a picture at first.

Vacation With Nana and PawPaw

Skylar's Nana and PawPaw came to Charleston on vacation a couple of weeks ago and we all stayed with them out at Wild Dunes. Skylar had a great time hanging out with them and going to the beach and pool.

We went to Bubba Gump in downtown Charleston for dinner one night to get what Mom calls "the world's BEST coconut shrimp"....and Mom doesn't even like coconut!

Happy 1st Birthday Skylar! : Part 2

The weekend after we returned from Florida, Skylar got a chance to visit with her Nana and Paw-Paw when they came to Charleston on vacation. They brought with them tons of birthday presents for Skylar from many relatives and she had fun opening them....as a matter of fact she enjoyed playing with the wrapping paper and bows just as much as the toys!

We had to make her rip the paper because she just wanted to play with the ribbon

Happy 1st Birthday Skylar! : Part 1

Skylar had her birthday party in Florida while we were visiting Amy's family. As you see below, she got many presents and had a great time. She also got the chance to partake in her first birthday cake, which was a sight to see! Publix gave us a free cake just for her and the adults ended up eating the Winnie the Pooh cake...go figure.

Ok...so they've given me a spoon and sat me down in front of this colorful round thing.....

....hey, this don't taste too bad!

I wonder what would happen if I just put my finger in it right here.....

....ooh, that feels weird and mushy.

I think it tastes better when I eat it with my hands....

....so that's just what I'm gonna do!
